FRANK LINK
We regret to announce the death at
Seattle of Frank Link, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Link of this city (Eau Claire,
Wis.). On Monday the family received a message from Seattle stating that he was
very sick and would be operated on at five o'clock. It would seem that the
operation was not successful, for at night a message came to George Prescott, of
the Dells Lumber Company stating that he died at 11:30 and to notify his father.
Yesterday afternoon the father received a message of his body. It was ordered
sent to Eau Claire and is now on its way here. Due notice will be given of date
of funeral.
The deceased was born in this city. He was 33 years old. He
was a young man of high character and standing and commanded the respect and
esteem of all who knew him. His untimely death is sincerely deplored. Mr. Link
was a member of Co. E, the A.O.U.W., and the M.B.A.
