Will Scharf was taken alarmingly ill last week Wednesday and was taken to the
Eau Claire Hospital Thursday where he was operated on for appendicitis, and is
recovering nicely.
Miss Clara Wilke and Maude Smith were guests of Mrs.
Ara Lee Tuesday for supper.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Erwin went to Milwaukee
last week, Howard to resume his railroad work for a while and Mrs. E. and
daughter Beulah will visit Mrs. Agin at Palmyra.
Mr. and Mrs. Ara Lee
spent Saturday at Dale Lee's helping him to install his new furnace.
Grant Johnson sawed wood for Frank Jahr on Tuesday.
Mrs. Ernest Yankee
entertained the kitting club on her birthday last Thursday. It was a very happy
meeting. Mrs. Bealer, Mrs. Reimer and Mrs. Bosselman were guests of Mrs. Yankee
that day.
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Johnson spent several days at Lindsey last
week. Mrs. Johnson visited her parents, while Grant went deer hunting.
L.N. Jensen is in Milwaukee this week on business.
