Molle, Milton Henry (6 APR 1936 - 24 MAR 2013)

Milton H. Molle, age 76, of Abbotsford, formerly of Loyal, died at House of the Dove, in Marshfield, on Sunday, March 24, 2013.

Milton Henry Molle was born on April 6, 1936, in the Town of Green Grove, Clark County, the son of Henry and Louella (Edwards) Molle. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at Oak Grove School, and graduated from Loyal High School in 1954.

After completing his education, Milton enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict, where he was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Clark County and began working in construction.

On July 29, 1959, he was united in marriage to Nan Jean Ebert at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Loyal. They moved to Sun Prairie in 1962, where Milton worked as a foreman for Kast-Rite Silo Company. In 1966, they moved to Waunakee, where he worked in new home construction, until moving to Loyal in 1974 and starting his own business, Quality Concrete & Equipment. Milton sold the business in 1983 and began working as a salesman for the Lato Corporation in Thorp. In 1986, he began working for Reitbrock Corporation, a Division of M.C.C., until retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church in Waunakee, a member of the Loyal American Legion Post #175, and a former member of the Loyal Lions.

Milton had many interests, but especially loved sports, including the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, playing city baseball as a younger man, snowmobiling, playing cards and cribbage.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Nan Jean, of Abbotsford; one son, Gregory (Jamie) Molle of Bloomington, MN; one daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Smiley of Maple Grove, MN; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrew, Inga and Christian Molle, Maddison, Adam and Jacob Smiley; one brother, Jack (Emily) Molle of Unity; one sister, Diann Shefchik of Marshfield; his special niece, Denise Horn, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Richard Shefchik.

Funeral services was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Rev. Daniel Zimmerman presided and burial followed at Lutheran Cemetery in Loyal. Visitation was held at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Milton’s family would like to thank hospice nurse Dave Eisberner, for his generous and compassionate concern and care shown to Milton, as well as the staff at the House of the Dove.
