Alex, R. Oestreich, 24, Summerfield, Fla., and Loyal, died on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in Ocala, Fla. A memorial get-together will be held beginning at 3 p.m. on March 30, at The Dog House, Loyal.

Alex Ray Oestreich was born on July 30; 1988, in Eustis, Fla. He spent his winters in Florida and his summers near Loyal and worked for Marwood Construction, Marshfield, for the past three years. He shot pool in the Loyal Pool League. He was an outdoorsman who loved being in the woods, 4 wheeling and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Michelle G. Oestreich, Ocklawaha, Fla; his father, Ronald R. Oestreich, Umatilla, Fla.; one sister, Mallory M. Oestreich, Ocklawaha, Fla.; his grandparents, Sheila Smith, Lady Lake, Fla., Richard “Pa” Oestreich, Summerfield, Fla., and Frank Gasbarra, Indiana; his uncle and Aunt, Rick and Julie Oestreich, Loyal; and his cousins, Ross, Richard, Ryssa, ReAnna, all of Loyal.
