Mason, Carol Aldrich (? - 23 March 2013)
Carol Aldrich Mason passed
way on March 23, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Three Lakes,
Wisconsin to Herrick and Mary Aldrich, attended Three Lakes Grade School and
high school, and graduated from Whitewater State Teachers’ College with a
Bachelor of Science degree. On February 21, 1942, she married Harvey Mason in
Madison. Together they lived in Wausau, Thorp and Eau Claire until Harvey’s
death in 1990. After moving to Princeton, MN to be with her son, Chris, she
relocated to San Antonio to be close to her daughter, Cindy.
Carol is
lovingly remembered for not only being a wonderful mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother, but for her sense of humor, her gracious style of life, her
love of animals, and her enjoyment of a great game of bridge. She was a fabulous
cook and love to walk every morning.
Carol is survived by her three sons
and their spouses; Peter and Becky Mason; and her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy
and Jerry Cambron. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Stuart, Tim, Like,
Carolyn, Reid, Rachael, Kristin, Dru, Jon, Andrew and Mari; and seven
great-grandchildren: Maggie, Molly Jack, Mason, Sebastian, Owen and Jackson.
Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd., Eau
Claire, WI, on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service
at 1:30 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
