Hake, Mr. and Mrs. Warren (55th - 19 November 1968)
Celebrating their 55th wedding anniversaries Sunday at the Warren Hake
home in Neillsville were Mr. and Mrs. Hake and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luck, also of
Neillsville.
Warren Hake and the former Helen Luck were married November
19, 1913, in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville.
Frank Luck and the former Hilda Ketelhut were married December 10, 1913, same
year in the same church. Both weddings were performed by the late Rev. Herman
Brandt, father of Neillsville’s Mayor, John C. Brandt.
Attendants at the
wedding were Harry Gehrt, Frank Lockbaum, Elsie (Becker) Schreiege and Mrs.
Richard Wedekind. Those for Mr. and Mrs. Hake were George and Amelia Rupprecht,
Ida Luck and Rush Hake.
Mr. and Mrs. Hake are the parents of three
children: Mrs. Albert (Thelma) Mashin of Neillsville, Dale Hake of rural
Neillsville and Mrs. John (Viola) McWilliams of Colorado Springs, Colo. They
also have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Both families
have lived in the Neillsville area since their marriage.
