Lippert, Grover H (? - 9 November 1968)

Grover H. Lippert, 82, a former Neillsville resident died November 9, in Madison. Funeral services were conducted November 11 from St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church there of which he was a member. Mr. Lippert died in a nursing home in Madison after a long illness. Burial was made in Sunset Memorial Park, Madison.

Mr. Lippert spent his early life in Neillsville, attended school here and was graduated from Neillsville High School with the class of 1906. He also was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied architecture. Following his graduation he was associated with Harold Balch in a firm of Balch and Lippert, Architects, in Madison. Mr. Balch also was a Neillsville native, graduating from the local high school in 1908.

Surviving are his wife, Edna; a daughter, Jean, at home; two sons, James of Oregon and Merritt of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Clara of Appleton, Mrs. Walter Schlogna of Sunnyside, Wash. , and Mrs. Frances Pollman of Green Bay; two brothers, Lorenz of Sheridan, Wyo., and Leo of Sioux Falls, S. D.; and six grandchildren.
