Karpinske, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin (Silver - 24 November 1968)

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Karpinske celebrated their Silver wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon and evening with an open house at their home northeast of Greenwood.

Edwin Karpinske and Vera Esterling were married November 24, 1943, in Seattle Wash.

The anniversary cake, baked by Mrs. Eugene Zawadski, was the centerpiece when lunch and refreshments were served to 60 guests, who came from Eau Claire, Stevens Point, Milwaukee, Loyal, Withee, Owen and Greenwood. Among those present were the couple’s two children, their son, Verlan, a senior majoring in biology at Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point, and their daughter, Evonne, who is employed with a law firm in Eau Claire.

The couple had a corsage and a boutonniere for the occasion. They received many congratulatory messages and gifts, which included a reclining chair from their children.
