A very lovely wedding took place at St. Hedwig’s Church, June 30, 1943, when Miss Lillian Tomczak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Tomczak of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Roman Letvinuck of Greenwood (Clark Co.). The wedding was performed by Father F. Piekarski.

The bride, who was escorted by the best man, Stanley Malasuik, wore a gown of white chiffon on princess lines with lace inserts and a four yard train. She wore a locket, a gift of the groom. She had a tiara crown of pearls and an attached long veil. Her bouquet was of lilies. She also carried a bouquet to the Blessed Virgin’s altar.

Dianne Baseler, niece of the bride was ring bearer. She wore a white formal trimmed with blue ribbons.

Flower girl was Dorothy Badzinski, cousin of the bride. Her formal was sky blue and she wore a matching tiara and blusher. She carried a bouquet of white lilies.

Miss Victoria Wynimko acted as maid of honor. She was attired in a gown of blue chiffon, and wore a matching tiara and blusher. Her bouquet was of pink carnations and roses.

The groom wore a navy blue suit with gardenia boutonniere. His attendants were Stanley Malazuk, Billie Mager and Joseph Tomczak.

Miss Dorothy Mager, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. She was an aqua gown. Miss Wanda Konieczny wore a gown of yellow net. Miss Rose Briski was attired in a blue net gown. They all wore matching tiaras and blushers and carried bouquets of pink roses and carnations.

A reception was held at the P.N.A. Hall. A wedding dance followed.

The young couple will reside on the groom’s farm at Greenwood.

Out of town guests included Mrs. Tony Tomczak of St. Paul, Mrs. Fred Beck and daughter Nancy. Valeria Koperski, and Zora and Mary Briski of Chicago, Mrs. Carl Harrer and Dianne Baseler of Evanston, and Billie Baseler of Evanston, and Billie and Dorothy Mager of Warren, Minn.
