William, Richard (1928? - 21 AUG 1943)
Richard William, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve William of the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was fatally injured Friday afternoon while working with a threshing rig on the Frank Bandach farm near his home. He was a truck driver and was in the act of backing up the truck to the separator when he was caught between the two machines and crushed. He was taken to the Stanley hospital where it was found he suffered internal injuries. He died Saturday morning.
He is survived by his parents and one brother, Donald, and two sisters, Delores and Mary Ann. He attended the Stanley High School.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at Stanley, Monday afternoon, Rev. James officiating. Pallbearers were John Lee, Alfred Nerdrum Jr., Steve Wartosec, Edw. Ignasiak, Irving Bieno and Felix Staszkowski.
