Stoneburg, Louise L. (21 Aug 1912 - 22 Mar 2008)
Louise L. Stoneburg, 95, of Marshfield died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Marshfield Care Center. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 27, at the United Methodist Church in Spencer. The Rev. Mara Pehkonen will officiate. Linda Roder will be the organist along with congregational singing. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 9 a.m. until time of the services Thursday at the church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Louise was born Aug. 21, 1912, in Clark County to John and Anna (Faber) Hefty. She and Ervin R. Stoneburg were united in marriage Feb. 25, 1931, in Neillsville. He died Aug. 27, 1981. They lived in Granton before moving to the town of Spencer where they farmed. They farmed until 1966 when they moved to Marshfield. When she moved to Marshfield, she worked at Central Cheese and then retired.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Lilas (Glen) Kleinschmidt of Chili; one grandson, James (Sue) Kleinschmidt of Spencer and two great-grandsons, Jesse (fiancée Lori Behm) Kleinschmidt and Timothy Kleinschmidt.
She is further survived by a sister, Mildred Wundrow of Marshfield. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Kleinschmidt; and two sisters, Irene and Eleanore Hefty.
