Milewski, Mr./Mrs. Walter (Golden - 22 JAN 1944)

Saturday, Jan. 22nd, 1944 at 9:00 o’clock at St. Hedwig’s Parish Church, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Milewski marched to the altar as they did fifty years ago, to receive the blessing of the church on the golden Anniversary of their marriage. A holy mass was sung for their intention during which the aged couple as well as all their children received Holy Communion. The altar was beautifully decorated in gold.

A dinner was served at the family home for immediate relatives and during the afternoon and evening many friends of the publiarians called to offer their congratulations and good wishes.

Out of town guests for the occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rubisch and sons Richard and Donald, and Mrs. Frank Golembiewski, all of Detroit, Mich.
