Piekarz, Adam (9 DEC 1908 - 19 FEB 1944)
Adam Piekarz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Piekarz, of the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at Chicago, Feb. 19, 1944, of injuries received in an accident while employed as a truck driver for Inter-State Dispatch, Inc.
Decease was born at Thorp, Dec. 9, 1908, and attended the local grad and high school here. In 1929 he was untied in marriage to Martha Maslowski, making their home in Chicago.
Mourning his untimely passing are his wife, Martha, and one daughter of Chicago; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Piekarz of Thorp, and two brothers, Frank of Missouri and John in the U.S. Armed Forces overseas.
Funeral services were conducted on Feb. 23 from the Tohles Funeral Home to St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Chicago, at 10:00 o’clock. Father Fuessel officiating and interment following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
