I came across this site looking for information about my grandmother's family. Her maiden name was Gertrude Schroeder, and she was born in 1923. Her parents were Carl (Karl?) and Clara (Roepke) Schroeder. There were nine children, and Gertrude was number two. At one point they moved to Janesville, WI. If I ever come across anything to post here, I'll do my best! Thank you.
