Weltzin, Alberta Jean (Marriage - 24 Oct. 1953)
Zion Lutheran Church, Jubilee, Iowa, was the scene on Saturday, October 24 at 2:30 of the marriage of Miss Alberta Jean Weltzin, Colby, Wisconsin, and Louis Oliver Winslow, Unity, Wisconsin.
The new Mrs. Winslow is the daughter of Mrs. Lewis Phillips, Jessup, Iowa, and Rueben Weltzin, of Waterloo, Iowa and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kern of Colby, Wis. The groom is the son of Mrs. Olive Winslow, Owen.
The bride wore a royal blue dress with a pink roses corsage and her maid of honor, Annette Shelley, Spencer, was attired in a deep purple dress with a yellow mum corsage.
The best man was Delbert Weltzin of Colby, Wis.
The bride’s mother attended the wedding in a royal purple dress with a yellow mum corsage.
The bride is employed in the Riplinger Box Factory. They will make their home on a farm near Colby, Wis.
They were honored with a dance at Colby Park Pavilion which was attended by many friends and relatives.
