Arline Bruesewitz
Arline M. Bruesewitz, 92, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, under the tender care of Ministry Homecare Hospice.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Tricia Turner will officiate. Burial will be in the Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin). Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Hagen, Gerald Glenzer Jr., Joe Dzbinski, Eric Krohn, Richard and Randy Kilty.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hansen Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church Wednesday.
Mrs. Bruesewitz was born December 8, 1915, in Athens to Otto and Clara (Westfall) Zuelke. She attended Colby High School.
Arline was married to Pete Glenzer and they later divorced. She then married Jack Holland. He preceded her in death in 1974.
On May 8, 1976, Arline married Elroy Bruesewitz.
Prior to coming to Marshfield, Mrs. Bruesewitz operated a boarding house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1952 Arline began working for Roddis and continued working there when it became Weyerhaeuser until the time of her retirement in 1978.
Mrs. Bruesewitz was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiner of America. Arline enjoyed dancing and camping.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Elroy "Bud" Bruesewitz, Marshfield; children Gerald Glenzer, Marshfield, Lloyd (Chris) Holland, Plano, Ill., Jack (Dinah) Holland, Marshfield and James Holland, Marshfield; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A daughter, Bonnie Dzbinski; son, Thomas Holland; brothers, Myron and Willard Zuelke and one sister Lorraine Kilty preceded her in death.
Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mrs. Bruesewitz's name are encouraged to do so to Faith Lutheran Church, Marshfield.
