Juedes, Ottelia (23 July 1884 - 10 July 1953)

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Henry Juedes, 68, who died at 6 P.M. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

The Rev. Randolph Mueller officiated at the services and burial was made in St. Peter’s cemetery, Hamburg. A brief service was held there also.

Mrs. Juedes suffered a stroke at her home here Tuesday and was taken to the hospital.

The body reposed at the Swarthout Funeral home until 12:30 Sunday when it was taken to the church to lie in state until time of services.

Pallbearers were Eugene and Kenneth Thurs, Virgil and Vernon Kufhal, Clifford Rinehart and Levi Prechel.

Flowers were carried by Mrs. Clifford Rinehart and Betty Jane Rinehart.

Relatives and friends attended the funeral from Merrill, Wausau, Marathon, Unity, Loyal and Hamburg.

Mrs. Juedes, nee Ottelia Voight, was born July 23, 1884 in Hamburg, Marathon County. Her marriage to Mr. Juedes took place there October 18, 1902. They resided there until three years ago when they moved to Spencer.

Survivors are her husband, six daughters, Mrs. August (Alma) Thurs, Loyal; Mrs. Delbert (Erna) Rinehart, Unity; Mrs. Clarence (Dalia) Prechel and Mrs. Wilbur (Loretta) Borchardt, Wausau; and Mrs. Herman (Ruth) Kufhal and Mrs. Arthur (Belinda) Christian, Marathon; a son, Hilbert, Wausau; 15 grand-children; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Marth, Mrs. Martha Haehlke and Mrs. Albert Juedes, Hamburg and Mrs. John Zastrow, Marathon; and two brothers, Herman, Hamburg and William, Marathon.
