Sorenson, Ruth Mrs. (Marriage - 4 June 1955)
The Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiated at the marriage ceremony Saturday, June 4 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Mrs. Ruth Sorenson, Unity and Mr. Howard Sturtz, Sr., Loyal.
The bride was attired in a blue suit and carried a bouquet of white carnations and red roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Talcott were the attendants for the couple. Mrs. Talcott wore a rose colored suit accented with yellow carnations.
A wedding supper was held at the Arvid Talcott home.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and Michigan and will make their home in Loyal, where Mr. Sturtz is employed at the Ace Hardware Store.
Out-of-town guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Howie Sturtz, Neillsville; Mr. Donald Sturtz and Mary Krozinski, of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller, and family, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. James Sturtz, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Art Lucht, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lucht and family, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lucht, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Haselow and Karen, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemeyer Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Gotter, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Britten and daughter, Mr. Matt Britten Sr., Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Byron Talcott, Wausau; and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Bauman, Edgar.
