Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Messing of the town of Grant celebrated their first wedding anniversary Monday, January 17 at their home by entertaining the following group of friends: Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Wischuelke, Wilber Wischuelke, Miss Ann Wallace, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schmidt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art Hillert and Helene, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Lautenbach and Mr. and Mrs. Art Lautenbach and Rochelle, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Gotter, Loyal; Miss Lobelia Gotter, Loyal, and Romane Gotter, Stratford.

Supper was served and the evening was spent playing sheephead. Mr. and Mrs. Messing were presented several gifts by the guests.
