Toltzman, William Herman (4 Apr. 1890 - 15 Jan. 1954)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Riplinger, for William Herman Toltzman, 63, who died of a heart attack Thursday morning at his home near Loyal, while trying to start his car.
The body reposed at the Swarthout Funeral home in Spencer until 11 o’clock Friday morning, when it was taken to the Toltzman home until 12:30 p.m. Sunday, and was then taken to the church.
Rev. P. G. Mall conducted the services. Burial was made in the Beaver cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Toltzman, Delbert Toltzman, Albert Neuman, Merlin Bender, Harold Boyer and Wayne Schultz.
The wives of the pallbearers and Miss Donna Lou Darton, Bonnie Olson, Marlene Dobbe and Mrs. Walter Seefeld were in charge of the flowers.
Mr. Toltzman was born April 4, 1890, in Unity and was married to Leona Molle there on November 16, 1916. He received his education in Unity and Spencer schools and was a farmer all his life. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Riplinger and a trustee of the church for six years.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Marlene, Marshfield; a son, Orin, at home; a sister, Mrs. Ida Neuman, Spencer; and two brothers, Albert and Herman, Loyal. One brother preceded him in death.
