Bruesewitz, Phyliss (4 Aug. 1954 - 25 Mar. 1955)

Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Monday morning at Christ The King Catholic Church, Spencer, for Phyliss Bruesewitz, 7 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bruesewitz, route 1, Spencer. Rev. James Sheridan officiated and burial was made in the Catholic cemetery, Spencer.

Phyliss was born August 4, 1954 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield and passed away at the hospital there Friday evening, March 25. She had been taken to the hospital earlier that day.

During her short life the child had spent seven weeks at the Wisconsin General Hospital at Madison, where she underwent major surgery. She had been home only 2 weeks when she passed away.

Flowers were carried by Mrs. Robert Rueden, Mrs. George Rueden, Mrs. Fred Lowe, Mrs. Donald Krause, Mrs. Louis Klein and Mrs. Vernon Westfall.

The body reposed at the Swarthout Funeral Home in Spencer from Saturday morning until the time of services.

Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Myron, 7, a sister, Carol, 5, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bruesewitz and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Earonski of Abbotsford, Wis.

Relatives and friends from Abbotsford, Dorchester, Arpin, Turtle Lake, Owen and Wausau, besides many from the Unity and Spencer areas, attended the funeral.
