Buettner, Ida A. (26 Jan. 1876 - 31 July 1955)

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 3 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Stanley for Mrs. Ida A. Buettner, 79, who passed away on July 31st. She had been in ill health for several years.

Burial was made in the family plot in Evergreen cemetery at Stanley.

Mrs. Buettner, a former resident of the Town of Unity, has been making her home at Stanley since 1946, near her daughter, Mrs. John O. Johnson.

She was born January 26, 1876 in the Town of Auburn, Fond du Lac County, one of nine children of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Feurhammer. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She was married to Lewis M. Buettner November 24, 1897, after which they moved to the farm in the Town of Unity, where they lived nearly 49 years.

Surviving are five children, Reuben, Paul, Melvin, Agnes and Beulah. Her husband, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters also survive.

Friends and relatives from Des Plaines, Chicago, and Bourbnanais, Illinois, Waupun, Riplinger, Greenwood, Unity, and Owen attended the funeral.
