Relatives celebrated the 81st birthday of Mr. G. S. Cook at the Sewell Cook home in Wisconsin Rapids Sunday, September 9th.

Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Cook and their guest, Mrs. Edith Tollefson, St. Paul, drove down to Wisconsin Rapids Saturday and remained over night. Other who drove down for the occasion Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. B. W Mabbott, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cook and family and Mrs. Minnie Cook, Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Capes and daughters, Marshfield. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Andrews and Syrl and Mrs. Alice Andrews, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cook, Marathon and Rev. and Mrs. Lee Holmes, LaCrosse.
