The wedding of Mary Elizabeth Boehm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Boehm of Chippewa Falls, and S. Sgt. James E. Field, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Field of Eau Claire, was held at 4:00 o’clock at the Holy Ghost Rectory on Wednesday, March 22, 1944, Rev. Alphonse J. Favre officiated.
The bride chose as her bridesmaid her sister, Philomene, and the groom was attended by James Finley of Eau Claire.
Immediately following the ceremony, a dinner was served at the Krause Café for the bridal party.
Sgt. And Mrs. Field left for the Twin Cities on a brief honeymoon. The groom has been stationed in Panama and will return there after his furlough.
