Lang, Edwin R. (30 June 1897 - 20 Mar. 1957)
Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist Church for Edwin R. Lang, a former Unity, Wisconsin resident who died of a cerebral thrombosis on March 20th at Anaheim, California, where the family had been living the past year.
The Rev. Roger Knutsen officiated at the service and burial was made in the town of Beaver cemetery. During the service Mrs. Ted Domer and Mrs. Rodney Fuller sang "God Be With You, Till We Meet Again" and "I Shall Not Want" accompanied by Mrs. Tom Loughead.
Pallbearers were Hugo Schuette, John Franke, Henry Molle, Chester Hebert, John Widmer and Arlyn Ewert, and Mrs. Arlyn Ewert and Mrs. Delbert Schuette were in charge of the flowers.
Coming from out of town for the funeral were Herbert Lang, Gordon, Nebraska; Mrs. Dick Hitchkok and Mrs. Ephriam Pederson, Oshkosh; Leslie Looker, LaFarge; Marvin Looker, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Matzke and Mr. and Mrs. Kenton Stewart, Wausau and many others from nearby communities.
*** Note: Edwin R. Lang’s is buried in the Beaver Cemetery, Beaver Township, Clark County, Wisconsin.
