Wiedenhoeft, Edythe H. (17 Apr. 1914 - 10 Feb. 1958)
The Rev. Roy Gustafson of Ogema officiated at the funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Gilbert J. Wiedenhoeft, 42, who died early Monday at her home of a heart condition. Internment took place in the church cemetery.
The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby until the time of services.
Although afflicted with a heart ailment for which she underwent surgery a year ago at Minneapolis, Mrs. Wiedenhoeft was active in her church and its Ladies Aid Society as well as the PTA and other school activities.
A lifelong resident of this community, the former Edythe H. Hardrath was born in the Town of Green Grove, Clark County, April 17, 1914. She received her education there and on October 5, 1932, was married to Mr. Wiedenhoeft in Colby, Wis. Her husband, who survives her, operates a grocery store here.
Other survivors are two children, Gilbert Jr. and Anita, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hardrath, Owen; and three brothers, Harold of Unity and Howard and Halbert of Atlanta, Georgia. One brother Harvey, preceded her in death.
