Those from here who attended the funeral of Henry Helmke at Park Falls, Wisconsin, Wednesday were Mrs. Dora Ewert, William Siegrist, Frank Siegrist, Mrs. Elmer Carlson, Charles Ewert, Mr. and Mrs. George Miller Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. George Miller Jr. Mr. Helmke was a brother of Mrs. George Miller.

HENRY Helmke DIES SUNDAY
Henry F. Helmke, 71, 735 South 6th Avenue, Park Falls, passed away here suddenly
Sunday.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity Lutheran
Church with the Rev. W. C. Hagebusch officiating. Interment was made at Nola
Cemetery. The remains lay in state at the Hornby Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M.
Tuesday until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, at which time they were moved to the church,
there to lie in state until the hour of service.
The deceased was born September 14, 1886 at Kaukauna and came to this community
in 1911. He worked as a painter here for 20 years and from 1931 until 1952 was
employed by the Flambeau Paper Mill here. He retired in 1952.
He was married on December 22, 1909 to Miss Louise Ewert at Unity, Wisconsin.
Surviving are his wife, one son, Melvin, Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Marnie
Hanson, Minneapolis; Miss Marilyn Helmke, Park Falls; one brother, Otto,
Marshfield; one sister, Mrs. George Miller, Unity; two grandchildren and 1 great
grandchild.

He was the son of Ernst Heinrich "August" Helmke and Ida Hintermeister, and is buried in the Nola Cemetery, Park Falls, Wis. 22 Dec 1909, Henry married Louise M. Ewert (29 Apr 1891, Clark Co., Wis. - 18 Oct 1970, Park Falls Memorial Hospital)
Henry F. Helmke worked as a painter with George Wishing for 20 yrs. and between 1931 - 1952 at the Flambeau Paper Mill in Park Falls, Wisconsin.
