Waldhart, Janice Carol (Marriage - Dec. 1958)
Miss Janice Carol Waldhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Waldhart, route 1, Spencer, and Pvt. Gerald H. Seefeldt, Spencer, son of Hugh Seefeldt, Riplinger, and Mrs. Clayton Wescott, Spencer, were married at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, Wisconsin, by the Rev. Robert Langseth, pastor. The 7 o’clock ceremony was performed before an altar decorated in the Christmas motif.
Miss Sue Koehler, Spencer, sang "O Promise Me" and was accompanied by Mrs. Myrl Messer at the organ.
As the bride was given in marriage by her father, she wore a light blue chemise style jacket over a sheath dress of wool flannel. She carried a white Bible covered with a white orchid and lily of the valley.
Mrs. Robert Kiesgen, a sister of the bride, Northbrook, Ill., was matron of honor and Mrs. Gary Ewald of Colby was bridesmaid. They wore corsages of pink sweetheart roses on their light blue suits.
David Luepke, Spencer, was best man and groomsman was James Waldhart, Spencer. Ronald Schulz and Robert Messer ushered.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.
The young couple are both graduates of Spencer High School. The groom is in the U.S. Army and the bride is employed with Employer Mutuals at Wausau.
