Baker, Amelia (22 Feb 1864 - 20 Apr. 1927)

Mrs. J. H. O'Brien and Mrs. Jas. B. Sullivan are at Abbotsford, Wis. today, going there to attend the funeral of Mrs. Amandus Baker, for whom services were held at the Abbotsford Presbyterian Church this afternoon. Mrs. Baker, who was a pioneer resident of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died Wednesday. Members of her immediate family are the husband and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Blake of Abbotsford and Mrs. Oscar Mellin of Fond du Lac.

Amelia Bothke Rautz was born 22 Feb 1863 in Germany, the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Ruatz.  Amelia married Amandus H. Baker (b. 27 Jun 1857, Thompson Twp., Seneca Co., OH - 16 Feb 1938), the son of William Baker and Mary "Polly" Sterner.

Amelia Bothke Rautz died 20 Apr 1927 in Abbotsford, Clark Co., Wisconsin.

Both Amelia and Amandus are buried in the Colby Memorial Cemetery, Colby, Wisconsin.
