Jewett, Wesley Gilbert (1900? - 28 Apr. 1960)
Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Sunday at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, for Wesley Gilbert Jewett, 60, who died of a heart attack at his home on April 28. Burial was made in the Brighton cemetery.
The Rev. Robert Langseth, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church officiated and also sang "The Old Rugged Cross," "Rock of Ages" and "Come To The Savior."
Pallbearers were Lester Boyer, Ted Domer, Howard Hause, Richard Kuehling and Frank Pfeffer.
Out of town people attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jewett, Calumet, Mich.; Mrs. Fred Mueller, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. May Jewett, Ladysmith; Mrs. Wm. Voigt and Kenneth, Ladysmith; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jewett, Waukesha; Mrs. Allen Neimi, Withee; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Braun, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Felix Dietche, Jim Colby, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Crotteau, Cumberland; Mrs. Maurice Morgan, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fehl, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Steffas, Owen; Mrs. Harry Untiedt, Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Leonard, Curtiss; Frank Ducet, Ladysmith; Mrs. Gerald Hebert, Milwaukee and many from Unity and vicinity.
