Dorin, Helen (Marriage - 19 Apr. 1928)

Announcement was made of the marriage of Miss Helen Dorin, daughter of Matthew Dorin of 2581 Massachusetts, to Benedict Chris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chris of Abbotsford, Wis., which took place April 19 in St. Luke’s church. Rev. Raphael Donnelly officiated at the double ring ceremony. Miss Clara Chris, sister of the bridegroom, and Matthew Dorin, brother of the bride, were attendants. The bride wore a tan lace ensemble with hat and accessories to match, and the bridesmaid also was dressed in tan. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride’s father.

Mrs. Chris is employed in the office of the Gary Steel company hospital and Mr. Chris is an employee in the safety department of Gary Works of the Illinois Steel company. Mr. and Mrs. Chris are making their home in a cottage on Miller beach.
