Bartnik, Lucille (Marriage - 4 June 1930)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Thomas Catholic Church Wednesday morning, June 4, 1930 at 9 o’clock when Miss Lucielle Bartnik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bartnik of Milan, became the bride of Joseph Miller, son of Mrs. Joseph Miller of Dorchester, Wis. Father Paul Kramer of Abbotsford read the ceremony.
The bride wore a white satin gown with point de puere over-dress, a veil in cap effect held in place by orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and white sweet peas. She was attended by her sister, Frieda Bartnik, who wore Alice blue georgette and picture hat to match and the groom’s sister, Ida Miller, who wore canary yellow with hat to match.
The groom was attended by his brother John Miller and Frank Bartnik, brother of the bride. All wore dark suits.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bartnik, Sr. They will reside on the groom’s farm near Bruckerville.
Both young people are well and favorably known in this community and have a host of friends who join with the Sentinel in extending hearty congratulations. Milan Sentinel
