Burrington, Fred Robert (1 June 1947 - 2 April 2008)

Fred R. Burrington

THORP -- Fred Robert Burrington, 60, of the town of Butler, rural Thorp, died April 2, 2008, at his home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley. Burial will be in the town of Butler Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the Thorp Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

He was born June 1, 1947, in East Grand Forks, Minn., to Pirl and Helen (Morgan) Burrington. He married Marylou Rowell on Feb. 2, 1974, in Grand Rapids, Minn. He was employed with Mathy Construction of Onalaska as the paver operator, running the hot and cold roller.

Fred is survived by his wife, Marylou of rural Thorp; two sons, Robert (Sheri) Burrington, Marshfield, and Chad (Nicole) Burrington, Fort Drum, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and his sister, Jean (Ralph) McIntyre, Elk Mound.
