Rubbert, Bernice L. (15 Feb. 1900 - 1 July 1992)

FOND DU LAC - Mrs. Bernice L. Hoops-Rubbert, 92, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, formerly of the Spencer area, died Wednesday at Americana Healthcare Center, Fond du Lac. Services will be at 6 tonight at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in West Spencer Cemetery, Spencer. She was born Feb. 15, 1900, in Redwood, Minn., to the late William Henry and Caroline Davis Callery. She was married to Herbert C. Hoops in 1924 in Spencer, and he died in January 1971. She was married to Harold Rubbert in 1974 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, a resident of Fond du Lac nursing home; two sons, Robert L. Hoops and David C. Hoops, both of Fond du Lac; one brother, Ervin Callery of Big Lake, Minn.; one sister, Norma Peterson of Big Lake; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by brothers and sisters.
