I live in Taylor County and was born on Paradise Creek. A Mr. Henry Tuttle(wife: Kate??) built a sawmill there sometime in the 1800s. They built an earthen dam upon which they floated logs...less than one mile.

Is it possible that you would have any info on this man and his work in Taylor County? If you do I would be most appreciative to receive it from you.
