100 Pounds of Cheese Given Away Saturday

One hundred pounds of cheese were given away at the last regular Exchange Day in Abbotsford last Saturday as a part of a program to advertise Wisconsin cheese. Mrs. Herbert Gray was winner of the first prize, a 20 pound cheese, Others who took cheese home were: Henry Weix, Mrs. August Wiesjahn, Gilbert Laack, Ernest Neuhause, Al H. Nelson, Ernest Miller, Mrs. John Michlig, Lena Russell, Carl Hanne, Vincent Schmitt, John Sorenson, Mrs. Robert Gierl, Doris Harrop, Herbert Weideman, Paul Jagodzinski, Albert Venzke, Mrs. Anton Carlson, Blaine Roberts, Charles Miller, James Ovans, Mrs. W. Ullrich and Mrs. Albert Nelson.

Postmaster Assumes Duties

Maxwell Jenks took over his new duties as postmaster here the first of this week. The retiring postmaster is H. T. Ketcham, who has served the community ably and efficiently for a number of years.
