The Clarion Changes Hands

Fred A. Pier, for nine years editor and proprietor of the Abbotsford Clarion, last week disposed of his plant, and will soon depart for the west to reside. Brother Pier was a good newspaper man but not very neighborly and although he owes The Phonograph eleventy-eleven calls, we will join his friends in wishing for him and his family the benefit to their health which they will seek in this change. The new proprietors, James L. Hickey & Co., are strangers to us but we extend to them the glad hand.
