Archibald "Archie" Sumner was the son of George Christian Roohr (1 Nov 1874, Swaumico, Brown, Wis. - 17 Mar 1930, Colby, Wis.) and Alma Sumner (3 Apr 1888, Unity, Wis.).  His father's parents were Jacob Lewis Roohr (20 Dec 1847 - 13 Jun 1921) and Gertrude Ann Steele (Jul 1855 - Dec 1928).  His mother's parents were Harvey Joel Sumner (18 Mar 1866 - 20 Jan 1955) and Katherine Thomas (22 Jun 1857 - 16 Sep 1954)
