McBride, Norman (? - 6 Dec. 1910)

The Phonograph has been informed by Geo. M. Thompson of Menasha, that Norman McBride, who resided in Colby a few years ago, was killed in the Michigan Central yards at Detroit, Mich., on December 6th. He was giving a back-up signal to his brakeman and stepped over onto another track and the switch engine backed over him and cut him in two just above the waist. He had just been promoted to freight conductor.
