Harvey, Iva Isabel (Marriage - 8 Nov. 1928)
Wedded at Waupaca Thursday
Thursday, November 8, 1928, at high noon, the wedding of Miss Iva Isabel Harvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey of Waupaca, and Mr. Henry Hingess, a prosperous farmer living three miles north-west of Abbotsford, was solemnized in the M. E. parsonage at Waupaca, Rev. Richardson, pastor of that church, performing the ceremony.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the brides parents to twenty-five friends and relatives who were there to attend the wedding.
Clarence Harvey and Miss Ethel Holman, brother and cousin of the bride were witnessed to the ceremony.
The bride wore a white stain dress trimmed with lace and rhinestones and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and the bridesmaid was attired in pale pink georgette and carried pink chrysanthemums.
The groom was born and raided in this community and is very well and favorably known to the people of Abbotsford, Wis.
The newlyweds left Waupaca Thursday afternoon and after a wedding trip to Milwaukee and other places arrived in Abbotsford Monday an at once began housekeeping at the farm home of Mr. Hingiss.
The Tribune joins with the people of he community in congratulations and best whished to Mr. and Mrs. Hingiss and in extending a welcome to the bride who is a stranger to most of the people here, "May they live long and prosper."
