My grandfather was the Reverend Arnold George Henry Bode, rector of the Episcopal Church in Wyoming, then Long Beach, Calif. and Sierra Madre, Calif; married to Lucy Dyott Burnaby (American) whose family changed their last name to Dyott when her father Richard A Burnaby inherited Freeford Manor in Litchfield, England (so you may see her name as Lucy Dyott Dyott). My father was Arnold George Henry Bode, Jr., M.D., born in Laramie, Wyoming on Dec. 28, 1911; his older brother of 8 years was Francis Dashwood Bode, a geologist. So I believe we are the same family that you are seeking although I don't know of a "Dolly" or the 2 daughters, Glad and Vivianne. My grandfather was a musician as well and has a hymn in the Episcopalian Hymnal. I understood from my father that my grandfather was one of the few remaining survivors in his family as a result of tuberculosis in the late 1800's.
