Miss Irene Strebe Becomes Bride of Louis Kautzer, Jr.
The Methodist church at Medford was the scene of a quiet wedding Thursday, February 20, when Miss Irene Strebe was united in marriage to Louis Kautzer, Jr. The ceremony was performed at 2 o’clock by Rev. Donald Mills, in the presence of the immediate relatives.
The bride was gowned in white georgette and wore a white veil. Her attendant was Miss Ellen Kautzer, of Goodrich, who wore a dress of beige colored satin, Ervin Burnsee of Curtiss, attended the groom as best man. A wedding supper was served to the bridal party at the home of the groom’s parents.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Strebe of Goodrich, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Kautzer, Sr., also of Goodrich. The newlyweds will make their home for the present with the brides parents. The groom is employed in the saw mill at Goodrich.
