Walter A. Trimberger (1 March 1899 - 2 August 1990)

Walter A. Trimberger Family

Mr. Trimberger was born and lived on the Trimberger corner all his life until August 30, 1968, when they moved to Neillsville. He established a gasoline station and Implement business there, which he operated for 40 years. He married Gudrun Skar of Birchwood, Wis., on June 18, 1924. She taught school for five years and was last employed as Principal of the Romadka State Grade School. They have two sons, Attorney Wayne W. Trimberger, and Eugene T. Trimberger, State parole and probation officer of Clark County, both living in Neillsville. They have five grandchildren. They continue their membership of Zion Lutheran church at Granton.

Family Notes

Gudrun (Skar) Trimberger was born in Norway to Thomas and Katrina Skar and moved to Birchwood, Wis., with her family as a young girl. She attended college in Eau Claire and taught rural schools, including Romadka School, north of Granton. She married Walter A. Trimberger on June 18, 1924, in Granton, Wisconsin.

Walter Anton and Gudrun (Skar) Trimberger are both buried in the Zion Missouri Lutheran Church Cemetery, Grant Twp., Clark Co., Wisconsin.
