Baehr, Ina Mae (16 SEP 1944)
A very pretty wedding took place at St. John’s Parsonage at Withee, Clark Co., Wis., on Saturday, Sept. 16, 1944 when Ina Mae, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Baehr and Edward Warren Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Miller of Withee, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. Shedler. The ceremony was performed at 2:00 in the afternoon. The couple was attended by Earl Vetterkind and Geraldine Miller, sister of the groom, Charlie Pralguske and Romilda Baehr, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were attired in pink dresses of jersey and net.
The bride was beautifully dressed in a white satin gown with net skirt and fingertip veil. She wore a beaded headdress and silver crystal necklace, a gift of the groom. Her bouquet was of white chrysanthemums and white pompoms. The maid of honor, Elaine Ruth Baehr, was attired in blue taffeta. She and the bridesmaids wore headbands to match their gowns and necklaces which were gifts of the bride. Their corsages were of Briarcliff roses, pompoms and swansonia.
The groom and his attendants wore dark blue suits.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, attended by immediate relatives.
The couple will make their home with the Baehr family until the groom, a cheesemaker, leaves for the service. The bride will continue as an employee of the Blue Moon Foods, Inc. at Thorp.
