Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kaleta of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), recently received the sad news of the death of their son, Pvt. John Kaleta, who died in the hospital on June 22, 1944, of wounds received in North Africa. The purple heart citation was sent to his mother.

Pvt. Kaleta enlisted in the infantry in September 1940 and has been overseas for the past two years. He was 29 years old.
