Theodore "Ted" Nick Linster, 96, of Neillsville died Thursday, April 24, 2008, in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

No funeral services are planned.

Ted was born Oct.6, 1911, in the town of Weston, Clark County, the son of Theodore and Bertha (Beyer) Linster. He farmed on the family farm. On Nov. 18, 1939, he was united in marriage to Marian Silkey in Eau Claire. After marriage, they continued to farm until he retired in 1973.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; a sister-in-law, Sally (George) Mohr of Eau Claire; a nephew and a niece; and a great-niece and a great-nephew.
