Mr. Bernard Klewicki, son of Walter Klewicki of the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Marion Romanowicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Romanowicz of the Town of Reseburg, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. Pollak at St. Mary’s Church, Stanley, in a ceremony performed at 9:00 o’clock Wednesday morning, Nov. 15th, 1944.
They were attended by Mr. Edwin Klewicki and Lucille Romanowicz.
The bride was attired in a white satin gown with a long train and fingertip veil. Her head crown was of pearl and her bouquet was of white roses and chrysanthemums. Her bridesmaid wore a maroon velvet net gown with matching blusher and carried a bouquet of red roses and chrysanthemums. The groom and his attendant wore oxford gray suits. Vernon Krupa, ring bearer, wore a blue suit and the flower girl, Joan Romanowicz, was dressed in a floor length dress and carried a basket of roses and chrysanthemums.
A reception to the couple was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents in the Town of Reseburg, attended by about 50 families consisting of relatives and friends of the bride and groom. Dancing was also enjoyed during the afternoon and evening.
The newly wedded couple will reside on the Mitchell Myslinski farm.
