Brown, Gerald Ralph Roland (28 Feb. 1942 - 10 April 2008)

Gerald Brown Gerald "Speedy" Brown, 66, of Neillsville died April 10, 2008, at his home in the Merchant's Hotel.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Speedy's family with funeral arrangements.

Gerald Ralph Roland Brown was born Feb. 28, 1942, in Loyal, the son of George Wesley and Agnes (Kronberger) Brown. He lived most of his life in the Loyal and Neillsville area, where he worked as a farmer. Later in life he worked for the Green Thumb Program as a custodian at the Neillsville High School.

He is survived by eight brothers and sisters: Violet (Bruce) Snyder of Pennsylvania, Sharon (William) Schumacher of Lindenhurst, Ill., Harley (Eileen) Brown of Nekoosa, Carol Brown and David Brown of North Chicago, Ill., Bernard and Jeffrey Brown of Florida and Katherine Harrison of California.
