BOETTCHER SERVICE WILL BE IN LOYAL
Local Minister to Officiate at Funeral in Riplinger Church
Loyal--Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Boettcher, 82, who died at her home in the Town of Beaver Monday morning about 9 o'clock of pneumonia and complications, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the St. John's Lutheran Church, Riplinger.
The Rev. Gerhardt Reiff, Marshfield, will officiate at the service and burial will be made in the Pince Grove cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Ohlrogge Funeral Home here until Thursday evening when it will be taken to the home.
Mrs. Boettcher, nee Henrietta Strout, was born Aug. 15, 1859, in Berlin, Germany, and spent her childhood there. She came to this country when she was 22, settling with relatives in Unity, where she lived until her marriage at Loyal in 1883. Since that time she has lived on their farm home in the Town of Beaver.
Surviving are four daughters, Misses Marie, Minnie, and Louise at home; and Mrs. John (Martha) Luther, Abbotsford; a son, Albert, at home; three grandchildren, and two half sisters, one in Germany, the other in Park Falls.
Two children and Mr, Boettcher preceded her in death.
