Cegielnik, Raymond (23 DEC 1925 - 13 MAR 1945)

Military Memorial Services were held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Withee on Monday, April 16 at 9:30 o’clock for Raymond Cegielnik, who was killed in action on Luzon. He was with the Paratroopers division. He entered the army April 11, 1944 and had served overseas since Oct. 18, 1944.

Raymond Cegielnik was born in thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) on Dec. 23, 1925 and was killed March 13, 1945.

He leaves to mourn, his mother, Mrs. Bernice Cegielnik of Withee, and two sisters, Olga of Detroit, Mich. And Lorraine of Withee, and one brother John of Withee, also a grandmother, Mrs. Anna Kroll Sr. and other close relatives.
